Mozambique Attractions and Activities:
So Why Xai Xai?
With temperatures ranging between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius during summer and 20 to 30 degrees Celsius during winter, Xai Xai can be regarded as an all year round vacation experience and holiday destination. Our Mozambique accommodation is ideal for a perfect family holiday, and with all the fantastic fishing opportunities, it can also be considered as a fishing trip of a lifetime!
- Besides walks on beautiful, deserted, undeveloped, long stretches of white beaches (and the warm ocean to dip into when the sand beneath your feet becomes too hot), Mozambique also offers the following attractions and activities:
- Relaxing at the beach (about 200 metres walk);
- Deep Sea Fishing - Charters available on 'African Dawn';
- Snorkeling along the protective reef (we have a limited amount of snorkelling gear for hire);
- Wenela Tidal Pool and blowhole;
- Safe areas for swimming (including a swim in your own pool);
- Good fishing from the beach;
- Guided quad tours on 250cc Can Am quad bikes;
- Jet ski hire;
- An outing to the local market is a must and this is also where you will be able to replenish your fruit and vegetable supplies;
- Perfect photographic panoramas from any angle;
- Dolphin and whale watching to be viewed from the comfort of your own balcony. Whale watching is only available during the winter months;
- A magnificent sunset to be observed, anywhere really, but the dunes are recommended for a relaxing sundowner with a local 2M or Laurentina beer to reflect at the end of a fun, sun filled day!
